Last day of Scuplture by the Sea. Would've come earlier to the beachside art gallery, but was busy with work. My colleague told me that last week, they even had a replica of Bumblebee displayed outside the Bondi Pavilion. Too bad I missed that.
Parking is really becoming a problem. I forgot to bring coins, so I tried to avoid the paid parking area. After circling the residential blocks for half an hour without finding any parking spot, I decided to park first and get some coins later. Turns out I can actually pay by credit card. Still, took me another 10 minutes of waiting to find a spot.
Sculpture by the Sea 2009 is pretty much the same as last year. Same idea, different presentation. Being the last day, there are lots of people (and dogs) around. Friends would meet friends and they would stop and chat and play with their dogs right in the middle of the walkway. I really hope they don't do that next year.
Of all the exhibits, I like the drinking straw in the middle of the ocean the best. Simple and smart. I did look around for the naked boy, but didn't see him anywhere.
